BALTIMORE – The state Board of Education is trying to make it clear that school districts won’t tolerate bullying, harassment and intimidation.
Tim Tooten Reports
Bullying is not a new problem in Maryland public schools, but it has prompted the state board to take swift action and approve a plan that would put more teeth into a policy already on the books.
The state board is calling their plan a model anti-bullying policy, meaning that, at some point, local school districts will have to make their policies fit the state definition.
