School bullying has moved from the playground and classroom to the internet, a report has revealed.

Almost half of all bullying is now taking place online as millions of UK schoolchildren spend hours on their computers.
The latest statistics released by the charity Beatbullying reveal that 45 per cent of the intimidation happens when pupils log on to popular social networking sites and chatrooms.
In some cases the bullying is so serious that it leaves young people contemplating suicide or self-harm, the charity reports.
