ALL schools under the Ministry of Education now have cyber wellness packages as part of their infocomm technology programmes.
And they are not just for students, but also their parents, who can attend talks or seminars to learn how to deal with issues such as online predators and cyberbullying, for instance.
Education Minister Dr Ng Eng Hen said the MOE would continue to keep tabs on these cyber wellness programmes through mid-year and year-end reviews, starting this year.
The Ministry is also putting together assessment tools, which will be piloted in 2011, to evaluate the effectiveness of these cyber wellness programmes, he added.
