A Halton school board official is denying reports students were suspended for taking part in Kick a Ginger Day last Friday, but says they may be suspended following an investigation.

About two dozen students at Burlington Central High School are under suspicion for taking part in the day, which takes its name from a 2005 episode of South Park in which characters are violent to redheads.
