Better enforcement of existing anti-bullying policies is sought by the mother of a 15-year-old high-school student who killed himself after enduring daily bullying in Nanaimo schools.
Ashkan Sultani hanged himself on Jan. 12. He left no suicide note, but the Lantzville boy left Dover Bay secondary school to escape bullying there only to experience more problems while at Woodlands secondary school.
