The Annual Conference of the International Bullying Prevention Association will be held this year from November 15 – 17 in the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle, Washington. The Conference is sponsored by the Microsoft Corporation. The conference theme will emphasize cyberbullying, youth risk online, and promoting positive online behavior, but there will also be numerous workshops on traditional bullying prevention, including the latest research-based best practices. The Convention Center is right downtown, within walking distance of numerous reasonably-priced hotels, restaurants, the Seattle Center and Pike Street Market.
